Ferrovial BAM Rail Systems is a JV Contractor on the HS2 Project, delivering the Track System and associated works under Phase One. The Phase One route comprises approximately 220 km of predominantly double-track high-speed railway running north from Euston Station in London to a junction with the West Coast Main Line at Handsacre in Staffordshire, with a spur from Water Orton in Warwickshire to a terminus at Birmingham Curzon Street. Phase One includes intermediate stations at Old Oak Common in London and Birmingham Interchange and a grade-separated junction (Delta Junction) to the east of Birmingham, with connections to facilitate the eastern leg of HS2 (Phase 2b).

Lead the management, oversight of designers’ delivery on the following:
Requirements – ensure there are suitable plans/procedures/processes are in place to evidence compliance with the requirements of the Contract and provision of required assurance under the Contract, (evidence normally provided by others, for example the Designers) and review of evidence supplied by the others (e.g. the Designers)
Manage, for these elements of scope, the design and assurance delivery in line with the programme
Support on Departures including discussions with Designers, Contractor’s staff, and HS2 or others
Plans & processes
Draft – liaising as required with the Designers, the Contractor’s staff, HS2 and/or others – the following plans & processes; seek approval by HS2; address and reach resolution of any comments (including resubmissions) until acceptance by HS2
