There is a requirement for survey and dredging services in the specified location, to meet the operational capability of The Awarding Authority. There may be an additional requirement to undertake survey works outside of the area’s specified above.
The Authority is looking to award an initial contract for 2 years with a further option to extend 2 years, providing (but not limited to) the following services:
Ensure the continued operational viability of the Dockyard Ports of Plymouth and Portsmouth by maintaining published safe navigation channels, depths of water and berthing / maneuvering capability for RN Ships, Submarines, support vessels and commercial vessels when transiting from the open sea, through approach channels to designated jetties, berths, docks and moorings, and vice versa.
Undertake a program of surveys to monitor and record the seabed levels, together with sufficient recording of the rates of siltation / accumulation, dredging activities and the disposal of dredged arisings.

The Authority (Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO)) requires information on your interest, capability, and capacity to provide the works or services to support the Navy Future Dredging Capability.
