Marine & Tunnelling is responsible for the construction of 3 tunnels for the main power plant cooling system (x2 Intake and x1 Outfall tunnels). Precast manufacturing will be undertaken in the specified location area using facilities previously established for the construction of Hinkley Point C (HPC), from where segments will be manufactured, loaded and delivered to the main site in Suffolk to feed and support the Tunnell Boring Machine (TBM) demand programme.

About the buyer’s selection process:
Sizewell C Limited, hereinafter referred to as SZC, is proposing to construct a 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station in Suffolk (Sizewell C) to provide reliable low-carbon electricity.
The purpose of the CompeteFor platform is to allow suppliers to express interest in upcoming packages at SZC and where required pass a mandatory minimum requirements questionnaire to ensure that we identify those who are deemed to be competent to provide the Works/Services to register their interests.
Depending on the details/answers you will be providing, a long list will be created and if selected, you will be invited to take part in the Pre Qualification (PQQ) process. PQQ documentation will be made available for download by suppliers through the Group Procurement Portal (GPP).
