Project objective
This project aims to upgrade or replace the existing DCIS capabilities, as part of initial improvements and integration of existing assets into the NATO enterprise architecture. More specifically the project aims to
reconfigure and expand 6 remote network modules (RNMs) and 16 wireless crypto routers (WiCRs
anchor the above small NDDs on the mission anchor functions (MAFs) over NATO controlled and non-NATO controlled military and commercial bearers
extend the MAF by providing virtual private networking (VPN) anchoring services over non-trusted connection bearer (that is Internet of opportunity) for the small NDDs (RNMs, WiCRs
provide test equipment for SATCOM for the small and medium NDDs
provide video teleconference (VTC) multi-control units (MCU) for the large NDDs in order to enable self-sustained VTC services in a deployable environment.
