II.1.4) Short Description: The Government of Georgia signed a Loan Agreement with the World Bank for financing the implementation of the Log-in Georgia Project (“Project”). The Project objective is to increase access to affordable broadband internet and to promote its use by individuals and enterprises, In targeted rural settlements.
Within the scope of the Project, for alignment with the EU regulations, the approximation to the Directive 2014/53/EU of the European Parliament and of the European Council, a draft resolution of the Government of Georgia on the approval of the technical regulation on radio equipment has been prepared. The objective of the CS is a practical implementation analysis of the “Technical regulation on Radio Equipment”.

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrower dated July 2016 (the 5th Edition, Sep 2023). EOIs of Consultants will be evaluated by the Evaluation Committee (EC) based on required qualification criteria. Then, the selection of the shortlisted firms will be proceeded according to the CQS (Consultant’s Qualification-based Selection) approach: from at least three qualified firms (shortlisted firms) that have submitted an EOI, the EC selects the firm with the best qualifications and relevant experience and invites it to submit combined Technical and Financial Proposals for negotiations.
