Description: Air SCIDA is a requirement across a plethora of Air TLB sites and is a vital activity that must be delivered correctly to provide the safety levels mandated by the Civil Aviation Authority and Military Aviation Authority through CAA Civil Aviation Publications (CAPs), the International Civil Aviation Authority (ICAO), MAA Military Regulation Publications (MRPs) and Def Stan 00-972.  This assures the resilience and security of Air Traffic and Air Defence Services in line with all pertinent legislation. In layman’s terms Air SCIDA provide assurance that site CIS infrastructure (existing and future) conforms to regulations and maintains Air Safety.

– It is the Authority’s intention to conduct a market briefing session to provide an overview of the Air SCIDA requirements. Should you wish to attend this session, please submit a communication via the Defence Sourcing Portal requesting an invitation to the briefing session.
– Please note that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 may apply to this procurement.
– All communications and clarifications in relation to this procurement shall be submitted via the Defence Sourcing Portal.
– Interested suppliers are required to complete the Dynamic Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (DPQQ) by 7th June 2022 – 11:00 hours. The DPQQ responses shall provide the Authority with information to evaluate the supplier’s capacity and capability against the selection criteria.
The Authority uses the DPQQ response to create a shortlist of tenderers who:
(1) are eligible to participate;
(2) fulfil any minimum economic, financial, professional and technical standards; and
(3) best meet, in terms of capacity and capability, the selection criteria set out in the DPQQ.
A maximum of 6 suppliers will be progressed to the Invitation to Tender stage of the procurement subject to the above assessment.
