A pipeline has been launched for Supply Chain Notice Opportunity – Solar PV Street Lighting installation programme across UK (residential estates).The contract start Date is 1 November 2021. Approach to market date is 13 September 2021.Our Client, the Defence Infrastructure Organisation is able to draw from a £5m Sustainability Fund and is looking to use a portion of that budget to install Solar PV Street Lighting to its residential estates across the UK.Although it is not yet known how much of the budget will be expended on Solar PV Street Lighting, nor the technical requirements, we require expressions of interest in this work.It is expected that when these issues are resolved that a further approach will be made to those that have made an expression of interest to establish their continued interest.For Amey to accept any Expression of Interest it is ESSENTIAL that any subcontractor is a member of Constructionline at GOLD LEVEL 3.If successful the subcontractor will need to pass a pre-qualification questionnaire, sign up to Amey Terms and Conditions, and meet the MoD Security Requirements.This advert is for Expressions of Interest (BY EMAIL ONLY) – from the responses and our existing subcontractor data base we shall compile the tender list. Tender packs will follow separately (by email).Note 1: The bidder must quote for all aspects of the Works.Note 2: Future works of a similar nature may be negotiated based upon submitted rates.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
