II.1.4) Short description:
The Defence Fuels Acquisition Programme (DFAP) business unit (known as the Department) within Defence Equipment & Support, has identified a possible requirement for the procurement and supply of DIESO MT fuels to British Forces in Germany. An overview of the requirement is as follows:
• Procurement and Supply of DIESO MT to Mechanical Transport Fuel Installation (MTFIs).
• Procurement and Supply of DIESO MT to exercise areas.
• Department’s Bulk Fuel Carrying Vehicles (BFCVs) to be filled at Supplier’s depot.
• Supplier’s will be expected to comply with an Departmental exemption from VAT and Mineral Oil Tax.
It is currently expected that the estimated annual volume of fuel required will be approximately 612,000 litres.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:
