Summary of Requirements / Description of Work: Electric sensors. Sensors. he Authority has identified a requirement for a ruggedized, rapidly deployable independent Trigger and Cue capability that will be rapidly deployed unmanned for extended periods. The system will require multiple bearers and multiple sensors for User deployment flexibility. The solution will be utilised to: protect, monitor and manage deployed remote sensors; provide force protection and early warning of hostile activity; detect activity on a Target Area of Interest.
The system is required to provide:
• Eighteen systems, each of which will include a suite of specialist remote operated triggers that will detect activity from a variety of distances on a Target Area of Interest.
• An independent capability that will operate in remote areas that lack access to a fixed commercial communications infrastructure.
• A choice of data egress methods to a Command & Control position.
• A system encrypted to AES 256 standards.
• A ruggedized system suitable for demanding military use for worldwide operations.
• A system that is compact, light and intuitive to use.
• A system that is battery powered.
Following Tender Assessment the Authority has identified a preferred bidder and intends to award the contract on 09 Aug 2019 subject to contract action and without commitment. The 10 day standstill period is therefore being invoked as at 29 Jul 2019
