A pipeline has been launched for On-Water Clothing & Equipment.The contract start Date is 20 June 2020. Approach to market date is 07 May 2019.The Defence Clothing Team, which forms part of Leidos Supply Ltd is considering the potential requirement for the provision of On-Water Clothing & Equipment (listed below) over a 4-year period: Fire Retardant Immersion Suit for SurfM Boat Operator; Multi-Purpose Fire Retardant Immersion Suit for Boarding and Over the Beach for SurfM Operators; SurfM Wet Weather Coxswains Suit Mk2 replacement; Multi-Purpose Upper Deck Crew Suit; On water goggles for use with Royal Marine SurfM Units; On water Balaclava for use with Royal Marine SurfM Units; On water glove (ECW) for use with Royal Marine Surfm Units; On water glove (Temperate) for use with Royal Marine SurfM Units.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
