A subsidiary of Barrow-in-Furness-based James Fisher and Sons has secured a £30m contract.JFD has been appointed by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) to design, construct and deliver a third generation deep search and rescue vehicle for the Korean navy, together with training and in-service support.Work is set to complete in 2021.
