The Birmingham office of a national engineering consultancy has won a five-year contract with the city’s airport as part of its decade-long expansion plans.The programme – which includes the option to extend for a further two years – will involve WSP supporting Birmingham Airport across areas including building services, structures, civil engineering, airfield engineering, fire engineering, environmental advisory, baggage handling, IT/ICS and security.The airport’s year Capital Investment Programme involves major overhauls to current infrastructure to support further domestic and international growth.
