II.1.4) Short description:
The Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) is the regional strategic social housing authority for Northern Ireland and invites tenders for the supply and delivery of composite doors. These door sets will work to ensure properties under Northern Ireland Housing Executive’s ownership are protected by SBD rated products and certified to the requisite standard in accordance with PAS 24 and the specification documentation. Throughout the contract, the housing executive will monitor and review the contractor’s performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The housing executive reserves the right to manage poor performance in accordance with procurement guidance note 01/12, including any amendments and updates issued by the Central Procurement Directorate of Northern Ireland.

The estimated value quoted within the contract notice is based on the full contract duration including the planned extension period. It is not an estimated annual value. NIHE estimate the total contract value to be 1 550 000 GBP. This is based on historical usage and projected need. However, should further funding become available NIHE may require quantities in excess of those quoted within the specification up to a value of 3 000 000 GBP. NIHE does not guarantee any level of expenditure.
