Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Parts of military vehicles. The Authority has a requirement to replace the current Heavy Armoured Spares Provisioning (HASP) contract. The new contract will cover an expanded range of spares associated with Heavy Armoured Vehicles. The new contract will be a 5 year enabling contract (with the option to extend for 2 years) which will include, where appropriate, the provisioning, procurement, storage and distribution of spares in accordance with JSP 886. In addition in order to provide greater agility in the supply chain, the new contract will contain the provision to allow spares for other armoured vehicle platforms (eg, WARRIOR, CVR(T)) to be purchased where existing supply channels have an inability to supply. A pre qualification questionnaire will be sent to companies who express an interest in this requirement. An objective criteria for selecting the limited number of Tenderers will be published in the documentation issued. Companies are only to submit their Expressions of Interest on headed paper at this stage.
