Massachusetts-headquartered Raytheon Company has been awarded a $111m cost-type and fixed-price contract for total ship activation and engineering services in support of the Zumwalt Class Destroyer programme. This covers production, integration, activation and testing on ship mission systems and missions systems equipment. The agreement includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the contract to $490m.
