KBR has won a potential eight-year, $514m contract to help the US Navy operate a military base on the island of Diego Garcia in the British Indian Ocean Territory. KBR will provide general management and administration, command and staff, environmental, public safety, air and port operations, supply, galley, bachelor quarters, facilities, base support vehicles and equipment and morale, welfare and recreation support services at the Navy Support Facility-Diego Garcia.
