4. Description: Adults’ Services are looking to commission services to provide a range of models of Accommodation Based support. Service provision will offer safe and secure accommodation in Specified Location with housing related support, focussed on enabling and empowering individuals to build on their skills, ensuring individuals have the right support, skills and opportunities necessary to resettle and sustain independent living. The cohort of people in need are homeless, or at risk of homelessness or in temporary or inappropriate accommodation. The cohort may include people who are homeless aged 16-24 and over 24 years old, substance misusers, offenders, those with physical or sensory disabilities, mild learning difficulties or mental health problems, people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and people who have experienced domestic violence. Providers will be required to collaborate closely with other agencies.
Children?s Services are looking to commission services to provide support and accommodation for 16-24 year olds with a focus on developing sustainable pathways to independence. We are looking for organisations to work in partnership to deliver wrap around services that is proportionate to the needs of that young person that will result in the delivery of positive outcomes for our young people. The cohort of young people in need will include those who are Looked After; at risk of becoming homeless, or potentially have issues relating to safeguarding.
