4. Description: The Awarding Authority is responsible for developing and promoting the new high speed railway known as HS2. The Awarding Authority will initially run between London and Birmingham (Phase 1) but will subsequently be extended to link Birmingham to Manchester and Leeds (Phase 2).
Phase 1 stations design services are divided into the specified 4 Lots:
The scope of Design Services (including base scope and optional scope) is described in the Pre-Qualification Pack (`PQP?) and accompanying Procurement Documents,
Applicants/Tenderers may express interest in and, if shortlisted, tender for all 4 Lots. However:
(a) a Tenderer cannot win more than two Contracts; and
(b) a Tenderer cannot win both Southern Lot Contracts.
Applicants are referred to the PQP for further information on the Evaluation Methodology to be applied at ITT stage to identify the most economically advantageous tender for each Lot.
