The Awarding Authority is a non-ministerial government department governed by a Board appointed to act in the public interest, with the task of protecting consumers in relation to food. It is a UK-wide body with offices in London, Cardiff, Belfast and York.
Delivering the `Food We Can Trust? strategy between 2015 and 2020 is reliant on the outputs delivered by Awarding Authority staff across a number of locations including Awarding Authority offices, approved premises, working from home and through other flexible arrangements.
To enable Awarding Authority staff to make their best contribution to delivering our strategy and objectives it is essential we provide a safe and healthy working environment for all and we also support staff wellbeing to ensure we are the best organisation we can be.
The aims are provision of an Employee Assistance Programme to support and improve the performance of the Agency?s workforce.
