The University Dental Hospital of Manchester (UDHM) is one of the leading dental hospitals in the UK and is actively working toward becoming the centre of excellence for digital technology in the UK. Therefore UDHM would like to invite potential suppliers to express their interest in providing a complete digital solution for the dental patient pathway.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Potential bidders must be capable of delivering for UDHM end-to-end and on-site digitisation (including all the intra-oral scanning, prosthetic design and manufacture, CAD/CAM process). The project scope includes the following key stages: (i) consultancy on available technologies, (ii) planning on how technologies and processes can be integrated at UDHM and (iii) implementation. The successful supplier will need to work closely with UDHM (clinical, laboratory and management staff) and the Trust’s support services (Informatics, Estates). The Trust reserves the right to consider dental implant technologies separately from a broader digitisation project. Any new supplier(s) would be required to work alongside existing digital services (e.g. electronic patient records and radiographic imaging) in place at the point of planning and implementation to ensure clinical and laboratory staff have a seamless interaction with their tools.
