II.2.4) Description of the procurement:
Ceredigion County Council is looking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to undertake maintenance of street lighting and related equipment throughout the county.
Equipment to be maintained will include (but shall not be limited to) street lighting equipment; illuminated road traffic signs; bollards; subway lighting; pedestrian refuge beacons; school crossing signals; dimming systems and feeder pillars. An emergency response service will also be required.
The appointed contractor will also be expected to undertake the council’s LED replacement programme and could be engaged to undertake electrical and structural testing.
The contract will be offered for a period of 34 months with the option of 2 additional years at 1 year increments.
