The MOD’s DE&S Technology Office will be holding an industry briefing on a jointly funded R&D programme with Leonardo Helicopters in the UK.

Industry Briefing : 1st February 2017 –­ Filton, Bristol.

The MOD’s Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) Technology Office will be holding an industry briefing this year on a jointly funded research and development programme with Leonardo Helicopters in the UK.

The Rotary Wing Unmanned Air System, Capability Concept Demonstrator (RWUAS CCD) Phase 2 programme aims to identify, develop and exploit the opportunities offered by emerging technologies, to reduce costs and increase the agility, flexibility, resilience and persistence of UK rotary wing capability.

Hosted by Leonardo Helicopters, the briefing will give further details on the programme and provide information on how organisations might get involved.

It will be held at BAWA Sports and Social Club, Filton, Bristol on 1 February 2017. Any organisation wishing to attend the industry briefing should register their interest with Leonardo Helicopters (edward.raggett@leonardocompany.com). Once registered, Leonardo Helicopters will forward an information pack and request confirmation of your intent to attend the briefing.
