Plans for No1 Lord Street, a new scheme for managed residential apartments in Manchester’s Green Quarter, have been approved by the city council.HOW Planning submitted a full planning application on behalf of Stockport-based Anglesource Ltd and approval paves the way for a new development comprising 192 apartments. It will also include 1,900 sq ft of ground floor retail space which will be leased to an independent trader.The project, which has been designed by architects Leach Rhodes Walker, is located on the corner of Lord Street and Cheetham Hill Road and will transform a partially vacant piece of land within the North Manchester Regeneration Area on what is a major route into the city centre.
