The current contract for Parks maintenance services in Belfast is projected to end on 16/5/2017 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Parks maintenance services in Belfast included the provision of services for an initial 3 year period commencing on award of contract. The option to extend the contract for a further 2 years is retained subject to agreement between the Client and the Contractor.The countryside management and maintenance contract will require the following in some or all of the properties/sites:Lots 1 to 4 – grass cutting, dog foul collection, litter collection and as appropriate the removal and disposal of clippings and waste material collected in each of the 4 regional areas. The cost of disposal is to be included in the charge rate for the service.Lots 5 to 8 – countryside and habitat restoration and maintenance duties (CHRM) in each of the four regional areas.Lots 9 to 11 – care of livestock in the following regional areas: South East, Central and Northern.Tenderers can tender for one or more lots in any region and for any number of regions.Tenderers must tender for all of the work within each lot that they are applying for.
