The UK MOD and French DGA sponsored Materials & Components for Missiles Innovation & Technology Partnership (MCM-ITP) programme brings together the best in Anglo-French missile R&D.

The MCM-ITP programme is currently seeking proposals for projects to start in September 2017, funding 1 and 2 year projects from an annual research budget of €13m.

We welcome high-quality exploitable research proposals, focused on the development of future missile technologies in the following technology domains:

  • Systems & Navigation
  • Radio Frequency Seekers
  • Electro-Optic Sensors
  • Rocket Propulsion
  • Air-Breathing Propulsion
  • Warheads
  • Fuzes & Safety Arming Units
  • Electronics & Materials

MCM-ITP welcomes proposals from both defence and non-defence organisations, in particular those from SMEs, academic institutions and research centres.

The main objective of the programme is to mature a portfolio of disruptive technologies which hold the promise of major advances in complex weapon applications.
