Plans have been approved to redevelop a historic linen warehouse in Belfast city centre.The five-storey grade A building on Ormeau Avenue, which was formerly known as Armagh House, will comprise office space and a café/restaurant.Interest in the 28,800 sq ft property, called The Weaving Works, has been “significant” with leasing agents GVA NI already in preliminary discussions with a number of potential occupiers.Jago Bret, director at GVA NI, said the project is “exciting”.Karl Asset Management, the company behind Ireland’s tallest building, the Obel, has been appointed property developer for the project.
