Work on the conversion of two disused office buildings in Bristol to provide new student accommodation has been completed. The grade II-listed Prince William House, and its neighbour, Matthew House, now comprise 75 student homes, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. Students also have the use of a large communal space, a 30-seat cinema, a fully equipped gym as well as bike store.Developer Urban Creation sold the site last year to listed student property specialist Empiric Student Property with a view to breathing new life into the buildings. The £4.5m refurbishment project was carried out by contractor Bray & Slaughter with work starting in August 2015 and completing in September 2016.
