A business unit of General Atomics has received a $221.6m contract modification to supply the US Army with extended-range Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft systems, associated hardware and support. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems will deliver 20 extended-range UAS units; 20 satellite communications air data terminals; six universal ground control stations; one mobile ground control station; and nine universal ground data terminals.
