The Authority is considering establishing a 4 year Enabling Contract for the supply of Challenger II Transmission Filters, as defined by NATO Stock Number 4CR2A/2520-99-639-7800 and drawing number FV1055445.Drawings shall not be issued with the Invitation to Tender. Potential Providers must therefore be able to clearly demonstrate that they can either manufacture the Transmission Filters to the latest approved drawing issue, or be able to obtain them from an approved source.It is the Authority’s intention to operate electronic trading by migrating the Contracts to Purchase 2 Payment (P2P) from the outset.Any resulting Contracts shall contain a set of Key Performance Indicators to measure performance in areas such as delivery and quality, and shall include remedies for poor performance.In accordance with the Government’s transparency agenda, the Authority shall publish the Tender and Contract documents online. Tel: +44 1952673846 Fax: +44 1952673867 Email: eve.doran@dsg.mod.uk, and must provide the following information:(i) Evidence of accreditation to ISO9001:2008, or equivalent;(ii) Clear evidence that the nature of this requirement is included within the Potential Provider’s core business activities;(iii) Details of previous Contracts held for similar items with other customers;(iv) Clear evidence that the Potential Provider is able to supply the Transmission Filter to the latest drawing issue.Only those Potential Providers who provide all this information, in sufficient detail, shall be considered for ITT.Should there be a large volume of expressions of interest received, the Authority reserves the right to issue a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) to aid the supplier selection process. PQQ responses shall be evaluated using the AWARD software tool.
