An airport operator is looking for a qualified party to take over and recommission the existing asphalt batching facilities.
The contract includes:
operating and maintaining the facility
obtaining all associated statutory approvals, permits and licences
supply asphalt products to the airport operator and its contractors
constructing the pavement works for the North Runway Modification (estimated volume of asphalt required is 200,000m3)
The duration of the contract is 2 years up to the construction completion of the Third Runway Project in 2024.
Suitable applicants will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience and capability in the production and laying of quality asphalt products for airfield pavement works.
