4. Description: IFC’s Advisory Project assists the Government of Armenia in investment promotion of ICT sector. The work includes the following activities: 1. Diagnostics and analysis to assess Armenias FDI competitiveness in the ICT sector: conduct a high-level review of all available information, studies and materials on the ICT sector in Armenia and implement a competitive benchmarking analysis for the 2 or 3 sub-sectors identified where Armenia seems well positioned to attract more FDI. 2. Design and implementation of a pro-active and targeted investment promotion campaign in select high potential segments of the ICT sector: lead the development of high quality and compelling marketing materials for ICT sector investment promotion; design and support implementation of a pro-active and targeted investment promotion campaign (6-12 months) in the priority (sub-)sectors identified; and build long term investment promotion and facilitation capacity with the lead institution(s) involved.
