The European Trilateral Track 2 nuclear dialogues (Trilats) has convened senior nuclear policy experts from the P3 for the last 10 years to discuss nuclear deterrence, arms control and non-proliferation policy issues. The Defence nuclear organisation (DNO) is committed as one of the Trilat Partners to engage with these key policy discussions at an appropriately senior level.
DNO is seeking to compete the running of the UK side of the Trilats through open competition, to contract a delivery partner in the work on the Trilats.
Objective
The objective of this work is to contract a partner in the UK contribution to the Trilats, who can deliver strong outcomes for the UK in the Trilat arrangements which facilitate knowledge exchange, inform the development of UK policy and influence French and US thinking. This ensures that the UK’s views and needs are fully represented and supported in their delivery of the UK’s contribution to the Trilat arrangements.
The requirement is suitable for academic establishments, think tank organisations, etc.
Deliverables
The successful delivery partner will need to bring a high level of engagement and credibility to their work on the Trilats. They will be working on behalf of DNO and therefore they must be aware that the quality of their work must consistently enhance the reputation of DNO and the UK’s nuclear deterrent policy in a senior international forum.
