All of the information contained within this Prior Information Note does not constitute, and should not be construed as, any commitment by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to proceed with any aspect of this activity beyond the Industry Day, to be held on 10.4.2019. All further activity is strictly subject to further internal MoD approvals. The training solution will enable military students graduating from RAF Cranwell Initial Officer/Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Training to obtain a full Military Aerodrome and Surveillance Radar qualification. The solution will be a mix of theoretical and synthetic training to meet the needs of the current Joint Air Traffic Control Course. Training is required for 16 students per year. Please note that the start date of 1.4.2020 is an aspirational date and the end date of 31.3.2025 is a forecast only.
