FP McCann supported the first Morgan Sindall Group Innovation and Collaboration day with a stand featuring the company’s modular building solutions, architectural panel systems and precast concrete flooring. The event was hosted by Morgan Sindall and held at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on 21st February.
With over 50 suppliers exhibiting, all part of the Morgan Sindall “Supply Chain Family”, the day was attended by over 150 members of the group’s procurement teams and a number of partnering sub-contractors.
Opening the event, Graham Edgell, Morgan Sindall’s Director of Sustainability and Procurement, welcomed everyone by saying the day was a great opportunity for staff to engage and collaborate with members of the supply chain family and to build on the integrity of the commercial relationships in place. He concluded by saying that the added value, knowledge and innovation on offer from suppliers was key to the collaborative partners reacting effectively to the future construction market demands.
As well as “The Market Place” where Morgan Sindall procurement and supply chain teams met the suppliers, there were also a number of smaller “Meet the Buyer” sessions. FP McCann’s Andy Cooper, Gavin Lowe and Chris Pearson all took the opportunity to sit down with Morgan Sindall construction representatives to explore upcoming opportunities for precast concrete modular buildings and flooring systems.
FP McCann’s Precast UK General Manager, Andy Cooper, said,

This event has given us the ideal opportunity to promote our ‘above ground’ precast building and architectural systems to an audience who, in many cases, are only just becoming aware of our capabilities in this field. I’m confident, moving forward, that Morgan Sindall and their collaborative construction partners will be utilising FP McCann’s modular buildings, stairs and flooring solutions on a number of projects.”
